The MakerWorld Points Calculator is a revolutionary tool designed to help you estimate the approximate number of points your MakerWorld models earn. By simply inputting key details like boosts, downloads, and prints, you can easily understand your model's earning potential and the incentive portion of the point system. Points matter! In the Bambu Lab Point Shop, you can redeem 490 points for a $40 gift card, with each point valued at $0.08. The calculator tells you approximately how many points a model has made the designer and how much money that is in gift cards! We recently launched an infill digital pamphlet for anyone wanting to know a lot more about infill, you can buy it here: Infill Guide. Alternatively, you can donate to support our mission and help keep this tool active.

How MakerWorld points work

MakerWorld pays designers in points for downloads, prints and boosts. A boost is worth 12 points (15 on an Exclusive model), which is the one fixed number MakerWorld publishes. Downloads and prints earn points on a sliding scale, and a print counts as two downloads. MakerWorld stopped publishing that scale in June 2025, so this calculator uses the last published table, and its download numbers are an estimate.

Points turn into money two ways: Bambu Lab gift cards in the points shop (creators report 490 points for a $40 card, about $0.08 a point), or cash for Exclusive Model points at $0.066 a point once you have $100 worth.
